CannaFit uses moderation and mindfulness to slow us down, turn inward, and use our natural sensations to monitor and track our fitness and nutrition. All forms of cannabis heighten our senses so that we can better tune into and honor our hunger, fullness, energy, and satisfaction.
When it comes to exercise, mindfulness is paying attention to what our body enjoys doing, which movements seem most natural and which seem most effective. If you do what you actually enjoy, you’re more likely to stick with it.
Mindful eating is more than just the types of foods that are healthy/better for us. What we really need to focus on is our behaviors. Changing behaviors such as snacking at night, eating past fullness, not letting ourselves get too hungry, emotional eating, and stress eating… the behaviors that are keeping us from feeling our best or managing weight. In this program we use whole foods and moderation to continue to enjoy eating while strategically eating the best foods for us most of the time.
What really drives weight loss is moderation and mindfulness combined with consistency and discipline. Oftentimes, stress, anxiety, insomnia, pain or inflammation prevents us from building consistency and discipline with our healthy habits. Cannabis can relieve these obstacles! In CannaFit I will work with you individually to find the right type, dose and consumption method of cannabis to help you overcome any obstacles and accelerate your weight loss or enhance your health.
Through mindfulness, moderation and cannabis, we can change our behaviors and mindset, which will reduce our overall caloric intake, giving us weight loss. It’s not a quick fix - it’s actually a slow process - but starting and stopping is even slower!
The path looks different for each individual and your plan will be as unique as you are. To create your plan we will cover and practice the following topics:
Over 12 weeks you will be using new tools to practice and rewire your brain to overcome negative thought patterns that hinder your success. This will involve:
● Planning and organizing
● Identifying and overcoming obstacles
● Exercise you don’t hate
● Homework assignments to learn and practice mindfulness
● Strength workouts to get you started
I am here to guide you and keep you on track with weekly coaching calls. These will be up to 60 minutes and can be by phone or via Zoom/Facetime.
Price for 12 weeks: $1500 includes written strength workouts, 10 coaching calls, goal setting, mini bands and journal. *payment can be made in weekly or monthly installments*
Success with all health related goals starts in our brains with our mindset! It’s not willpower that we lack, it's mindfulness. Mindfulness can actually help increase our will power. People who practice mindfulness report having an easier time resisting cravings, delaying gratifications and generally understanding their body’s sensations better. Mindfulness principles will help us create a plan that is best for your individual body, but in a sustainable way… a way that you can continue to be fit forever!
